Being Together vs. Being Connected

This is part of a weekly series of writings I’ll be publishing each Friday during COVID-19.

This past Sunday, our family attended a live-stream church service courtesy of Facebook Live. We asked our girls to wear their Sunday best and got their little chairs out in rows, trying our best to recreate church pews. We even managed to get our phones projected onto our LCD, so our TV effectively became our altar. It was slightly chilly out, so we flipped on the gas fireplace. All things considered it was a serene setting as we started to begin Sunday worship.
